Back, Better, and Enabling Payments

Hi Dishans!

We’ve been silent for some time, but that doesn’t mean we’ve been away. As they say, we’ve been “moving in silence” to make Disha more valuable to you, and now, we’re back and better.

It’s an open secret that Flutterwave acquired Disha in November last year. We still have the same vision — to help African creators power their craft and reach the global stage. We’ve started by embedding payment links into Disha, which means you can now sell physical or digital products from your Disha page to anyone in the world (in any currency).

Last weekend, we hosted a few Disha creators at an exclusive location in Lagos. We ate great food, had great conversations, and enjoyed even greater company. We had an honest sit-down with some Disha users and listened to suggestions on making Disha more useful for everyone. We’ve noted all the comments and are working hard to build more innovative features to help you power your craft with Disha.

We’d love to hear from you too. If you have any recommendations about what Disha could do better, we’d love to hear them. Feel free to leave us a comment – we’ll read every single one, we promise.

P.S. We have more events lined up for you over the next couple of months, so stay peeled. Turn on notifications on our Instagram page @getdisha and check your emails.

Here’s to creating and getting paid for it🥂.

With Love,

The Disha Team🧡.

Unfortunately, I’m yet to finally decide if I want to unsubscribe from Disha. I signed up late last year and forgot my password. After several attempt to get back, I sent a message via DM to your IG, but didn’t get any response.

I made a comment on one of the posts, no response. I just dropped another comment now, I’m sure there won’t be any difference. Is there a way out?

Hi Ifenla.

We’re so sorry about this. We have escalated this to the product team and will get back to you as soon as possible.
